Thank you so much to everyone who gave of their time and resources to serve those in need in the Rainsville, Alabama disaster areas. See How NHBC is passionate about missions...Details of Our Recent Mission Trip:Armed with work gloves, equipment, donated clothing, toys, gift cards, and hearts of gold, our mission teams (led by Rickey Dick and David Moore) were able to be the hands and feet of Christ in recent days. From Monday, May 16th through Sunday, May 29th we have had several folks from our church travel up the the storm-ravaged areas of Rainsville, Alabama and surrounding towns to do what we could to help. Our teams met many families who had lost so much and even lost loved ones in the recent tornadoes. From tree trimming to clearing yards to handing out gift cards and food to building relationships and just praying with these people... we were able to do so much. Thanks to the generousity of so many, we were able to raise $770 in gift cards and about $1,000 in cash for these victims, not to mention all the clothes and supplies so many have so generously given. Praise God for the faithfulness of His people. We are also very thankful for the generous support of other local churches in our area who make up the Hardee County Disaster Relief Team. DONATE a gift card ($25 or less each) to Lowe's, Home Depot, Wal-Mart, Visa Gift Card, etc for us to hand out to those in need we meet during our trip.
