9/29 = Praise God for an awesome service last week to celebrate our Sanctuary Dedication. Click here to view our Photo Album page with before, during, and after pictures throughout the duration of our renovation. Thank you again to those who gave during our service on September 21st and yesterday to our Sanctuary Renovation. Our current standing is as follows:

9/18 = The order of worship is set and we're expecting God do do exciting things this weekend at our Sanctuary Dedication Service. We hope to see you there on Sunday beginning at 9:45am for Sunday School and 11:00am for worship. Our theme verse for this day, as seen in the bulletin cover below, is Psalm 127:1 = "Unless the Lord builds a house, its builders labor it in vain". 9/15 = You and your family are invited to join us for our Sanctuary Dedication Service, this Sunday, September 21st, beginning at 11am. This special service will include the dedication of our sanctuary, baby dedications, special music, partaking in the Lord's Supper, a powerful message from God's Word, and Dinner-on-the-Grounds to follow the service. Invite your friends, your neighbors, and your family to be a part of this action-packed special day! We will not have any evening services becuase of the full schedule during the morning & afternoon. We hope to see you there this Sunday!
8/28 = Praise the Lord as we celebrated our first Sunday back in our newly renovated sanctuary this past week. We had 235 in attendance in the main worship service and 45 children outside of the sanctuary, in various ministries. We are excited to be in our new sanctuary and looking forward to our Sanctuary Dedication Service on Sunday, September 21st! Please be in prayer as we hope to complete our renovation goal by our Dedication Service. We currently have $91,726.36 (23%) remaining.
8/18 = We're planning to move back in this week! A work day has been scheduled for this Saturday, August 23rd to move all our equipment back into the sanctuary in preparation for our first Sunday back in there! Finishing touches are being made to the railings, the new stage floor, and the sound/lighting equipment this week. Below is a currently picture of where our renovation is at. We're almost there!
8/13 = The new pew upholstery and the new prejector screens are the focus for the latter part of this week's work. See them pictured below as some of the final details are being made, moving us closer and closer to the completion of this project.
8/11 = The carpet is being laid this week (pictured below) and the trim work is almost complete. Our hopes are to be back in the sanctuary in the next 2 Sundays. In other news, our Sanctuary Dedication Service has been schedule for Sunday, September 21st. We hope to see you there as we praise the Lord at the completion of this project.
8/4 = New windows have been installed, more paint had been applied, and the new stage flooring (made for the old wood floor previously on the stage) is being crafted. See below for a few new pictures of this week's progress. As of today, we are at 81% of our goal with only $72,601.88 remaining to complete our Sanctuary Renovation Project. Praise God!
7/28 = Paint has begun to appear on the walls, the trim work is almost complete, and the new carpeting is scheduled to be laid next Monday morning... we are coming to some of the final stages of this project. We are excited to announce that this project should be completed within 2-3 weeks. Please continue to pray for the completion of this process and please continue to give as the Lord leads as we make final strides to reaching our renovation goal. Pictured below is the new trim work and columns around the baptistry as well as the new paint on the walls.
7/18 = Below is the most recent picture of one of the new stairwells with railing installed coming from the balcony into our new sanctuary.
7/14 = New pictures for this week include the new trim work on the back wall behind the Choir Loft and the new railing on one of the stairwells to the balcony. Please continue to pray for this project as we are hoping to complete it within 3-4 weeks.
6/30 = Another $4,461 was given this past weekend bringing our total received for this project to $284,937.55 (out of $367,016.79). We are now proudly at 77.6% of our desire goal! Praise God! Below is a picture of the work done so far this week on our sanctuary.
6/24 = Praise the Lord again for the generousity of His people. As of this week, we are now at 76.4% of our goal with only $86,540.24 remaining. This week's pictures include the first of many light fixtures to be hung and some of the first trim work around the stage area.
6/16 = Thank you to everyone who joined us this past Sunday after the evening service to write down our favorite Bible verses on the stage area and on the stairways. Now we will be "walking on the Word of God" for years to come in our new sanctuary.
6/9 = Pictured below is the most updated picture of our sanctuary from the stage view. Notice the new staircases framed in. Also pictured is the new addition to the front of the main stage. We are also moving closer to our renovation goal and our new total is as follows:

Given To Date: $273,276.05 (74.5% Now Given!)
Now Remaining: $93,740.74
6/4 = Now with the building permit acquired, we are seeing some progress with momentum. The pictures below show the beginnings of our new stairwells from the balcony into the main sanctuary and the new workings of the choir loft section of our rebuilt stage.
5/27 = The beginnings of our new staircases from the balcony into the main sanctuary is shown to the left and the picture below to the right shows the beginnings of our new ceiling, sheetrocked and new light fixture holes.
5/20 = This week's renovation pictures show the first dumpster full of cleaning out ("out with the old, in with the new") and the stage area being reworked for its remodeling.
5/12 = From the front of the church to the back, things are looking different already. Pictured here is the removed of the north staircase in the foyer and the remodeling of the baptistry and front area.
5/7 = Pictured below are the choir loft and the balcony as the foundation is being cleared for new construction. More photos to come by next week.
5/5 = Pastor Chris met with a representative from Scott Paul Construction this morning to sign the paperwork to commence the renovation project. Demolition and building permits are being picked up today. Work to begin very soon!
4/21 = Please note to worship services will be held in the Fellowship Hall beginning this Sunday until further notice. This Wednesday night (April 23rd) will be the last Wednesday Night Supper of the school year. Thank you for your willingness to be flexible during the renovation work.
4/16 = During tonight's regular business meeting, the church voted to completely approve the Church Interior's proposal to renovate our sanctuary. The remaining balance due will be borrowed from First National Bank (details to be posted online soon). Work is scheduled to begin on Monday, April 28th and scheduled to be completed by June 6th! God is definitely at work here! Amen!!
4/14 = Our students raised about $2,700 from the Yard Sale Fundraiser this past Saturday. Adding this and other gifts received this past week, we are now at 69% of our Renovation goal. Money raised to date is currently $253,496.35. Praise God!
4/7 = More exciting news related to how the Lord is obviously working through the generous gifts of His people. The BBQ Dinner Fundraiser was a great success this past Saturday. $35,778.00 was raised! Praise the Lord! Are new total is as follows:

Given To Date: $222,768.00 (61% Now Given!)
Now Remaining: $144,248.79
4/1 = As of this past weekend's giving towards our Renovation Project, here is where we currently stand:

3/25 = The Church has two opportunities coming up to be involved in the giving to our Sanctuary Renovation Project. They include our
(1) BBQ Fundraiser Dinner on Saturday, April 5th @ 6pm, or our
(2) Youth Yard Sale Fundraiser on Saturday, April 12th @ 8am, or as our pastor challenged us to
(3) consider giving part or all of your Economic Stimulus check from the goverment to what God is doing here. Thank you for being involved in this project. Check back for more details very soon!
3/24 = The April Business Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, April 16th at 7pm. During this meeting, the church will discuss and vote on how to fund the remainder of the project before work begins at the end of April.
3/19 = Today a letter was mailed to every member of NHBC detailing the financial information related to this project as well as giving opportunity for each member to make a pledge or donation related to the individual costs of this project.

2/25 = New Hope Baptist Church decided in the Special Called Business Meeting on Sunday, February 24th to accept the proposal from Church Interiors of Florida for the Sanctuary Renovation. The vote was 81 "yes" and 11 "no" (88% affirmative). The next step for for the church to seek how they will decide to pay for the project (i.e. loan, pledges, fundraisers) before the project is given the "green light". We currently have a 60-day window to accept the bid and begin the work.
Another business meeting to discuss the details of funding the project and giving the final acceptance or decline of the renovation will take place during the regular business meeting for April. Stay tuned for further details between now and then.
