Who We Are:

  • Tupos (too-pos') is a Greek noun with a double meaning in English.  Tupos means (1) to be an example or a pattern for, and (2) to make an impact on or leave an impression from one object on another.  Our desire as a ministry is to teach students to and grow them in being an example and making an impact for Christ is this world.  This word is rooted in the theme verse for this ministry, found in 1 Timothy 4:12, which reads "Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe" (NASB).
  • This student ministry desires to be student led, under the direction and guidance of the Minister of Youth/Education (Pastor Justin Worden) and the Student Ministry Team (SMT).  Students are leaders of Ministry Teams designed by students for students.  These students overseeing the individual leadership teams (i.e. the Worship Team, the Drama Team, the Recreation Team) are part of the core group of students in Tupos, known as SALT (Student Accountability Leadership Team).
  • For more information about the organizational structure of Tupos or the ministries we provide, please contact Pastor Justin via text or call @ 863.781.9218 or via email @ Justin@NewHopeWauchula.org.
